That's why we try our best to have this eco-friendly stance in mind at every step of our business - from pure and natural essential oils, sustainably sourced soy wax and most importantly, recyclable and reusable packaging.

We have partnered with Zero Muda in Horsforth and Refills by Seagulls in Leeds City Cente to deliver a new way to re-buy, re-purposing in mind!


How does it work?

Time for a new candle?

If you live locally to Leeds, you can visit Seagull’s Refills or Zero Muda in Horsforth. You have the option to exchange your empty jar in store. No need to make an online purchase, and you get to visit a brilliant store!

If you live nationwide, you can post us your empty jar instead. Start by tapping the button below and choosing which new candle you’d like (you can even pick a different scent to your original).

Post your candle to us

A 'refill slip' will be emailed to you. Follow the instructions on this by grabbing your candle (don’t worry about cleaning it out!) and popping this in a box with the refill slip, and make sure it’s secure. Then send it to our partners at Seagull’s by post.

Receive a brand new candle

Once we’ve received your empty jar and refill slip, we’ll send you your brand new candle! If you have visited in person, you can select and receive a new candle almost immediately (please read T's&C's). We will recycle your old jar to use for a new candle for someone else.

 

Terms and conditions

- This product selection only applies to the Large (250ml) Candle at this moment in time. No refill exchanges can be made with Travel Size Candles.
- Please note that you, the customer, will have to pay for your own postage fee's for the empty jars. We do however have free postage on the candle ordered. 
- IF YOU ARE LOCAL TO LEEDS AND ARE ABLE TO VISIT SEAGULL'S or ZERO MUDA IN PERSON, PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE THE REFILL OPTION ONLINE. Instead, package your empty jar in a box or a bag, and label it with 'FIONA C/O SEAGULLS REFILLS' or ‘ALI C/O ZERO MUDA’ Visit the store in person, pick your new candle and exchange your empty jar to a person behind the counter. This candle will be priced at the same as on our website (£15).
- Golden Hour Co., Seagull's Refills and Zero Muda are not liable for any lost packages. We cannot, in any circumstances, send or provide a new candle if we have not received the empty jar with the correct refills slip. We will endeavour to provide a refund should an order be made and a jar is NOT received within 4 weeks. 
- This product selection only applies to Original Jars, any collaboration jars or pots CANNOT be refilled with this option. To enquire about refilling your customised jar or pot, please contact us by email at goldenhour.co2018@gmail.com
- If the original jar has a custom label, please note that we are not able to provide the same label on the new jar. If you wish to have the same custom name, please contact us
