This is our story
In late 2018, struggling with my mental health and jobless, I turned to creativity for purpose. As Christmas approached, I wanted to give back to my support system, so I decided to make heartfelt gifts. Inspired by the idea of blending essential oils, I created aromatic soy wax candles that offered both thoughtful gifts and aromatherapy benefits.
With my last £300, I purchased supplies and crafted my first batch. A friend with a furniture store in Lincolnshire placed an order, and we sold seven candles on the first day. The excitement of those initial sales was unforgettable and continues to drive me.
Golden Hour Co. is dedicated to handcrafting our products from scratch, blending essential oils in our studio in Leeds, and continuously refining our craft. Our scents are designed to encourage a deeper connection to ourselves and the world around us.
This business has brought me immense joy, and I am deeply grateful to our customers, friends, and family for giving life to Golden Hour Co. and providing me with a meaningful purpose.
